Ingredients

  • Dough Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all purpose flour

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 tsp yeast

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/3 tsp salt

  • Filling Ingredients:
  • 6-8 oz bacon

  • Shredded Mexican cheese

  • green onion

Directions

  • Put yeast, water, flour, salt and sugar in the mixerand knead the dough for 5 minutes. Now add 2 tbsp butter and knead again.
  • The dough is ready when it stops sticking to the bench and is smooth place your dough back in your bowl and allow the dough to rise for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
  • Slice the bacon and fru for 2-3 minutes
  • Cut the dough into 6 pieces
  • Roll the dough out like a really thick pizza
  • Take one piece and flatten it with your hand, put cheese and bacon on top and seal the dough.
  • Let the rolls sit for 30 minutes then add more cheese, sliced bacon and green onion on top.
  • Bake for 25 minutes at 350 F.
